My first art photography gallery opened in downtown Bologna in 1988 and lasted about 18 months, till my career in fashion and advertising took off and I had no further need of an exhibition space. I didn’t reopen another photo gallery till 2007 in Orvieto, a city I chose specifically because I thought it perfect for a venture of this kind.
